Johnson and Johnson Innovation (JLabs) will present an overview of the newest life science and healthcare incubator in Washington, DC. The state-of-the-art site is open to entrepreneurs and innovators, and startups, focused on innovation across the healthcare spectrum, including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, consumers, and health tech. JLabs has both resident in-incubator and non-resident incubator services and funding available. In partnership with Children’s National Hospital (Children’s National), the 32,000 square-foot facility is located at the new Children’s National Research & Innovation Campus. This Children’s National expansion is set on a nearly 12-acre portion of the former Walter Reed Army Medical Center campus in the nation’s capital.
Faculty, staff, clinicians, students, and biotechnology entrepreneurs will learn about the unique capabilities of Johnson & Johnson – Innovation, JLABS, Washington, DC, and the various ways they can engage with JLABS to advance their research commercialization. The JLABS model is built to engage in external innovation and provide a pathway to commercialization for early-stage companies engaged in biotechnology research and development.
