Our goal is to help fulfill SAEO's mission of increasing accessibility for all by sharing knowledge of Assistive Technology solutions with all of VCU's students, faculty, and staff. This channel will share information about everything from strategies for managing email to different tools and software which can support better, more efficient learning for all at VCU.
What is SAEO?
Student Accessibility and Educational Opportunity (SAEO) is the designated office on VCU's Monroe Park Campus that fosters an environment where all students have equal access to the University's programs, services, and activities.
What is Assistive Technology?
Assistive technology is an umbrella term for any device that we might use to help us complete important tasks or engage in day-to-day activities. It can be as simple as a pair of glasses or as complex as software to translate math.
