2024 Quality Management Summit -- HIV and Aging

This session will discuss the healthcare needs of a growing population of older persons living with HIV. This includes the need for regular HIV screenings among older adults, the prevention and treatment of comorbidities and how they affect people living with HIV in relation to age, and examining geriatric models of care for older adults living with HIV. This session will also provide an overview of the HIV & Aging Service Expansion Project, which will define the needs and goals of the project, how those goals will be implemented, the collaborative effort of the teams working on implementing the program.
