VCUHS Transplant Program From a Quality and Access Lens

Join History and Health; Equitable Access to Care, as they will host a panel discussion examining the VCU Health Transplant Program from a Quality and Access Lens co-sponsored by University College’s Common Book Program and the Office of Health Equity. Moderators Rev. Marilyn Barnes, Director, Spiritual Care Department, Dr. Marlon Levy, Chief Medical Officer, VCU Medical Center, Cherron Gillmore heart transplant recipient, and Dr. Jim Childress, Professor of Ethics and Religious Studies at UVA, will discuss the intersection of the organ transplant industry with quality and access to such life-saving procedures.
