Attendees will learn about methods for organizing and managing the multiple components of the business development process. This differs from directing research-oriented projects. There are new entities involved, such as setting up outside-the-university facilities, hiring new employees, consultants, regulatory input, fundraising, product development for scale-up manufacturing, and marketing communications.
