CReSS Workshop: Identifying COVID-19 Misinformation: Finding Trusted Information about COVID-19 and Vaccines

This Clinical Research Skills Series workshop recorded April 21, 2021, Dana Ladd, PhD, VCU Health and Wellness Librarian distinguished between misinformation and disinformation and the occurrence of both with the COVID-19 pandemic.  Topics covered included evaluation criteria to determine the reliability of vaccine information, reliable sources for COVID-19 information and how to transfer these to other health information within the field of  clinical research. Joint Task Force For Clinical Trial Competencies 5 (Study and Site Management) and 7 (Leadership and Professionalism) are covered in this workshop.
