The Virginia Infection Prevention Training Center’s course on Candida auris focuses on infection prevention best practices for Candida auris prevention and treatment within healthcare settings. Topics include epidemiology and antimicrobial resistance of Candida auris, barriers to laboratory identification, environmental cleaning and disinfection best practices, and recommendations for notifying public health of suspected or confirmed cases.
