Participants will hear strategies on how to build an elevator pitch, how to disseminate and brand your message while selling your research to a varied audience (both academic and non-academic). Participants will also learn about the value of networking and gain tools to grow their professional networks.

- Identify and describe concrete ways to improve your skills and career path by networking
Examine how to define your message and identify your audience, and tailor your presentation accordingly.
Understand the value of networking in order to gain mentors and collaborators
Adjust approaches to maintaining and growing a professional network and/or collaboration via networking
