Seminar Description

Participants will be offered an overview of K awards. We will discuss different types of K Awards and their eligibility requirements while offering tips and tricks for packaging a successful K application. Finally we will discuss things to consider when moving from ideation to submission.

Learning Objectives:

Identify the purpose for career award and recalled the K award submission process details
Choose a K award aligned to their interest and career level and identified 2-4 eligibility requirements
Name four components of successful K Awards and identify two reasons why these components are important to packaging successful K awards
Recognize the steps in moving your K grant from idea to submission and construct a plan
