TriNetX is a global health research network that uses real-world data to make clinical and observational research more efficient. VCU Health, and more than 120+ collaborative healthcare organizations across the world, share de-identified data from Epic (and other EHRs) that result in a database of over 250+ million unique patients. Once cohorts have been identified, tools can be used to uncover treatment patterns, compare outcomes, and more. Using TriNetX can be essential for navigating clinical data, determining feasibility of new trials, and stimulating research interests with faculty, trainees and students. Access is free and does not require IRB-approval!
