Yeala Grimes Multimodal Project

Yeala is from Maryland and is a freshman in the Art Foundation Program pursuing a degree in Communication Arts. Her project was created this spring in Courtney Sviatko's UNIV112 class based on her favorite “Third place,” meaning a space which is neither home nor work that provides some value to the individual or community. I nominated Yeala’s project because it showcased her artistic talents so beautifully, made great use of the modalities, and was an interesting take on the prompt.
